As a part of the Working Wonders program, volunteers organize a Book Drive and Fair, an event where we sell gently used books at school and donate the proceeds to a local charity.
This is a great opportunity for your kids to buy some gently used books at great prices while contributing to a good cause!
Families bring in their gently used children’s books to the MP Room from Monday through Thursday, and then attend our Book Sale on Friday before school, during recess, and at lunch. After school on Friday there will also be a Book and Bake Sale.
All of our proceeds will go to Ten Books a Home, a local nonprofit that provides books and mentors to preschoolers in East Palo Alto. Thanks so much for your support! Please stay tuned to the eNews for more information on dates.
