Run for the board

The PTA Board coordinates all of the PTA events and programs you see on campus.  The board is made up of both parent and staff volunteers.  They are responsible for setting budgets, helping to find and recruit volunteers, coordinating the PTA’s activities, and regularly communicating with the principal.

Elections are held at the March PTA Association Meeting.  Before running, we highly recommend you talk to current board members so you know what you are signing up for.  You can also read the job descriptions to learn more about each role.  To be eligible for election, you should: (a) officially join the PTA (it is amazing how many people forget this step); and (b) submit your name for your desired position to the PTA Nominating Committee, headed by the PTA Parliamentarian by the end of February.
