Where is the School Supply List?

We don’t have one at Duveneck!

In past years, families were asked to contribute towards basic supplies students would need in the classroom like pencils, folders, tissues and wipes.  This year, the Duveneck PTA has allocated funds from the “Direct Ask Contribution” to cover the cost of all essential classroom, library, elective, and recess supplies and equipment.  This includes pencils, paper, printing/ copying services, workbooks/school art materials, Physical Education/recess activities, technology and media. Please support our school by donating the Direct Ask Contribution today. Donate on-line.

Why do it this way?

We choose to do this way as a convenience for our parents (no need to brave the stores!) and for our teachers (they no longer need to store a whole year’s worth of supplies in their classrooms). We also believe that the school gets better pricing on items by buying in bulk, and ensures that all of our students get the same set of supplies.

This is one of many ways the PTA uses the Direct Ask Contribution and why your generous donations are so important. The Direct Ask Contribution is listed on the Single Check Order Form in your child’s Back to School Packet. You can also fill out all of your forms and pay the fees on-line at the PTA’s online store. We hope that everyone sees the Direct Ask Contribution as a benefit. Please share your feedback with us!

Where is the Handbook?

We had some trouble with printing this year, and will send the handbook home in an upcoming Friday Folder.

How Can I Help the PTA?

We’re glad you asked!  We are maintaining a list of specific needs we have now on the website.  But if you are interested in helping in any other way, reach out to pta@duveneck.org and we’ll gladly work with you to find a good role.
